Hungarian Swimmer Zsuzsanna Jakabos: An Olympic History

Early Life and Career

Zsuzsanna Jakabos, also known as Zsuzsubell on Instagram, was born on April 3, 1989, in Hungary. She began swimming at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the most successful Hungarian swimmers in history.

Olympic Achievements

Jakabos has represented Hungary at five Olympic Games: Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020. She has competed in seven events over the course of her Olympic career, including the 200-meter butterfly, 400-meter individual medley, and 800-meter freestyle.

Jakabos has a total of three Olympic medals to her name. She won a bronze medal in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, a silver medal in the same event at the 2012 London Olympics, and a gold medal in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

World Championship Success

In addition to her Olympic achievements, Jakabos has also had great success at the World Championships. She has won a total of 14 medals, including five gold medals.
