Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia has announced the first day of Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The Supreme Court has called upon Muslims across the kingdom to investigate the sighting of the crescent moon, which will determine the start of the three-day holiday.

According to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the public sector holiday will begin on Monday, April 8, 2024, and end on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Private sector employees will have a one-day holiday on Monday, April 8, 2024. The Ministry has advised all employers to grant their employees the required leave.
